Dubai Districts: Madinat Jumeirah

Madinat Jumeirah

Madinat Jumeirah is a prestigious area of Dubai, which is home to luxury hotels, fashionable restaurants and a large number of private beaches.

Madinat Jumeirah is located just 15 minutes' drive from the famous Palm Jumeirah. And the road to Dubai International Airport takes no more than 25-30 minutes.

Many tourists often call this area the Venice of Dubai. It received this name not by chance: it is in Madinat Jumeirah that daily boat excursions along artificially created canals are held.

The list of main attractions in the area includes:
  • Burj Al Arab (or as it is called “Sail”): one of the most expensive hotels in the world, bewitching locals and tourists with its beauty;
  • Souk Madinat: a market that over the past few years has become not only a full-fledged shopping complex, but also received the status of one of the most popular tourist locations in the emirate;
  • Wadi Wali: a water park with more than 30 water attractions.
  • Madinat Jumeirah falls into the category of areas with an excellent level of amenities. There are a large number of entertainment facilities here:
  • restaurants: Pad Thai, Al Makan, Shimmers on the Beach, Mezzanine Bar & Kitchen;
  • gym clubs: Talise Fitness, J Club;
  • shopping center: Souk Madinat Jumeirah;
  • Gallery One exhibition hall.
There are no educational or preschool institutions in the district. The nearest school, Raffles International School, is no more than 6-7 minutes away. The following educational institutions are also located within a 10-15 minute drive:
  • secondary schools: Kings' Dubai - Ksd, Raffles World Academy, Emirates International School;
  • kindergartens: Sweet Apple Nursery, Raffles Nursery, Senses Centre.
Today, a unique residential complex, Madinat Jumeirah Living, is being built in the area. Investing in this project is not only a guarantee of increasing start-up capital. Such transactions also make foreign nationals eligible for the UAE Golden Resident Visa.

Very soon, construction of a unique artificial reef, Dubai Reefs, with an area of 600 km² and a volume of 400 m³, will begin in this area. The construction of the project will be carried out by URB. In a few years, there will be residential, hotel and retail spaces, floating eco-lodges, wave farms and ocean farming.
